Marine ParkOn Bonaire we believe that we have the island on loan from our children. That’s why we take care of our nature. All waters surrounding the island have been declared a Bonaire National Marine Park, up to a depth of 57 metres. That means, it’s a protected nature reserve. An area that extends across a total surface of 6,672 hectares. By paying an obligatory ‘nature fee’, you contribute to the conservation of the park. Divers pay 25 US dollars. You can obtain the tag at any diving school on the island. There they can also tell you all about the orientation dive, which is compulsory for every diver. Read on >>
